The aim of JAZZ IN AUSTRALIA (JIA) is to promote Australian Jazz musicians and jazz in Australia. The site is being developed by an independent group of jazz enthusiasts under the initial umbrella of the Sydney Jazz Club.

It is designed to provide access to information on Australian jazz and musicians, including visual and audio examples of Australian jazz - both current and historic. JAZZ IN AUSTRALIA is intended to be a gateway for anyone wanting to experience Australian jazz, the current Australian jazz scene, and its long and interesting history.

Our aim is to enable you to find the many and varied locations to obtain information about and hear and in some cases see, Australian jazz musicians and bands.
